2-Component

At Hildering you will find an extensive range of 2-component tin can packaging, specially designed to pack and transport two or more components at the same time. This allows you to mix components efficiently, which is crucial in industries such as construction chemicals and the paint and lacquer industry. There are four innovative systems for 2-component (2K) packaging:

  • Duo Stack: The cans are coupled together with plastic or metal connecting rings. And often used in (semi-)automatic filling. The plastic ring is ideal for small cans (up to 5 liters) and ensures airtight and dust-free mixing. Metal rings are used for larger content sizes (>5 liters).
  • Duo Integrated: In this solution, the B component acts as a lid for the A component. This saves space during transport and makes mixing easier, without having to pour the components over. This solution is ideal for lower-viscosity fluids.
  • Duo Ring: It is essential that 2-component paints and lacquers arrive at the same time and in the correct ratio. The plastic rings allow you to easily connect existing tin containers for 2 or more component filling goods. In addition, you have a better quality finished product through dust-free and airtight mixing.
  • Duo Cap: Sometimes you want more than a filled can. Like a second can, tube or pouch containing hardener, putty or decorative glitter. Or tools or a manual to go with it. An easy solution is 2K caps: transparent caps that fit various can sizes and hold all the necessary parts together. They are easy to assemble and can be reused after opening.

With our labeling and printing service, we can also customize the design for the can and most types of lids. Together we go for the best result in brand perception and packaging needs. Find the best can solution with our packaging finder or contact us for more information and advice.
